Our 3rd year with the water hammock and it's been an awesome addition to our boat. Especially with inflatable back rest/pillow. Lounging on it is so relaxing when you need to get off the boat. Folds up tight and is out of the way. We've had the raft roll up and this is way better!

We have the 778 Avalon Dock with back rest. We are extremely happy with the quality and workmanship and all have a couple of the inflatable chairs which we all enjoy. The dock is easy to inflate and maintain in like new condition. It has secure mooring points to attach to another dock or anchor off in to deeper water for leaping off of into the water. Joseph and his team at Further Customs keep innovating and improving to not only meet customer’s needs but exceed their expectations. Everyone is treated like family. My family including the pups have really enjoyed all of the items purchased and look for to many more happy days relaxing on the Avalon Dock with family, friends and pups.

I just unboxed and inflated my 778 Avalon Dock 2.0 yesterday! I was impressed with the quality of the construction and the materials that were used. Even the carrying strap was very well built, with two pick up handles, padded sliding shoulder strap and great buckles. It took me 10 min. 21 sec. to blow it up to 8lb.
including the dock backrest fender. I was ready for a break after using the hand pump, if you had two people it would be a breeze. Deflation took me 12min. and the hand pump worked fantastic sucking all the air out. The ladder and the grab handles on the Avalon 2.0 will really help my wife getting onto the dock from the water. I spoke with Joe when I first walked in the the Seattle Boat show about the 778 Avalon. I told him wanted to look at the other offerings at the show before I made a decision. He said come back and see me before you make your mind up, so I did. Joe was busy with another customer when I came back
but his lovely partner help me. They were very appreciative that I came back to talk with them again, they gave me a screaming boat show deal! This shows me they really care about their customers, they are great people to work with! I'm headed to Banks Lake Steamboat Rock State Park soon then to Lake Chelan and can't wait to get on the water with the 778 Avalon 2.0.

It’s the perfect addition to our waterfront. So comfortable to lounge on and the dogs love it too!
This is a great little boat to cruise around in calm waters. It's easy to put together and the bimini top is a great feature. Our 12 year old daughter is loving driving around in the canals and the calm sea, she has no problems handling it by herself. We are using the 7.5 Mercary Avator (electric), easy to charge and works great so far. The only issue we had is the plugs keep falling out, and it would be worth adding a stronger string which the plus is attached too. Other than that, we are super happy with the boat, and it keeps our girls out exploring and they love the freedom!
This thing is awesome! When inflated to recommended pressure of 2-3 psi it’s as stable as my concrete dock yet soft and friendly to lounge on and swim off of all day long. All my friends absolutely love this thing! I bought a separate heavy canvas cover and keep it stowed in that when not in use. Inflates in 5 minutes if you get the pump. Only down side is the 12 volt cigarette lighter plug.

I purchased the avalon dock at the norwalk boat show. It is very high quality. Easy to inflate. Holds a whole family no problem. It is so much fun to use. Highly recommend!
Use it all the time to work on my boat but also at the sand bar. Much more stable than the foam mat we used to have. Decking is probably the best in the market compared to other brands I've researched. My girls and dogs love it.

What the warranty for the Avalon Dock?
We offer a 2-year limited warranty that covers material defects, manufacturing faults, and seam failures under normal recreational use.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and begins on the original date of purchase. Products must be purchased directly from Further Customs or an authorized dealer to be eligible for warranty coverage.
Exclusions: Damage from misuse, overinflation, prolonged sun exposure, commercial use, or improper storage is not covered. Tearing or damage to D-rings, accessory mounts, or tie-down attachments caused by excessive force, or improper towing.
Is it stable enough to stand, walk, or place chairs on?
Yes, our Avalon docks are extremely rigid and stable when inflated to 4–7 PSI. They're built to support coolers, chairs, and multiple adults while maintaining a stable and rigid feel without flex. Many customers even use them for boat maintenance and cleaning—a true testament to their stability and durability.
How long does it take to inflate and deflate?
Inflation typically takes 5–10 minutes using our included dual-action, reversible hand pump, which pushes air on both the up and down stroke—cutting pump time in half compared to single-action pumps. Deflation takes about the same time, and using the pump’s deflate mode will remove every last bit of air, making the dock as flat as it was the day you unboxed it.
Can inflatable docks be left water overnight or for multiple days?
Yes, the Avalon Dock is built to be UV- and saltwater-resistant. Its sidewalls feature a second reinforcing layer and a third layer along the seams to maintain integrity in harsh conditions. However, extended exposure to the elements may reduce its lifespan. For best results, rinse and dry after use and store in a cool, shaded area when not in use.
How durable are inflatable docks?
Our dock is built with military-grade PVC and drop-stitch construction, offering exceptional resistance to punctures, abrasions, and UV damage. The material is similar in strength and durability to that of a commercial-grade river raft. While not completely impervious to sharp objects, it’s far more rugged than standard pool toys or floaties. Inflate it on a smooth, flat surface, and you can expect it to hold up for many seasons of use.
Can dogs go on it? Will their claws puncture it?
Yes, our Avalon Dock can handle dog nails without risk of puncture. While claws may leave scratches or surface marks on the decking, these are purely cosmetic and won’t affect the dock’s air retention or structural integrity. For added protection—and to keep it looking its best—we recommend laying down a towel or mat where your dog tends to sit or move around.
What’s the best way to store inflatable docks when not in use?
Rinse the dock with fresh water, allow it to fully dry, then roll and store it in a cool, dry place. You can remove all air by folding and compressing it manually or by using the included hand pump in deflate mode to vacuum out the air. It’s also perfectly fine to leave the dock partially inflated or fully deflated for storage—there’s no harm in doing so. Just avoid storing the dock fully inflated in direct sun or extreme heat, as internal pressure can rise above the recommended 7 PSI.
Does it come with a repair kit?
Yes, the dock includes a valve wrench so you can tighten the valve if it ever becomes loose or needs replacement. It also comes with a PVC patch in case a repair is needed. While punctures are extremely rare, they’re usually quick and easy to fix—similar to patching a bicycle tire.
