We own a paddleboard tour company in Florida and have spent A LOT of time on different boards over the years. The Avalon Emerald has quickly become one of our favorites.
It has that perfect balance of stability and performance. It feels incredibly solid under your feet and gives newer paddlers confidence, but it still glides beautifully and feels responsive enough that experienced paddlers enjoy it too. That’s exactly what we look for in a board for our tours.
And can we talk about the color?! The deep emerald green is gorgeous. We spend a lot of time paddling Florida’s springs, rivers and lakes, and this board looks incredible on the water. It has such a classic, elevated look without being overdone.
We also really appreciate the little details. Everything feels thoughtfully designed and high quality, which makes a huge difference when you’re using equipment as often as we do.

We own a paddleboard tour company in Florida, so our boards don’t exactly have an easy life. They’re on the water constantly, carrying different riders and paddling everything from springs and rivers to lakes. We’ve been incredibly impressed with our Further Customs Avalon Mariners.
The first thing you notice is how solid and rigid they feel on the water. They’re stable without feeling slow or bulky, track beautifully, and have a really nice glide. For us, that balance is huge because we need something comfortable for newer paddlers but still enjoyable for experienced riders.
The quality also feels a step above your typical inflatable SUP. Everything from the construction to the deck, hardware and overall design feels intentional and premium. And honestly, they’re just beautiful boards. Further absolutely nailed the look of the Avalon Mariner.
After spending years on paddleboards and trying a lot of different equipment, we’re picky about what we put our guests on. These have definitely earned a place in our fleet.

The Avalon pad was an absolute game changer,
The Avalon pad was an absolute game changer, especially paired with the battery powered pump. I took the kids to the lake, the bay, and the ocean with it, and they love it. We put on sunscreen while it pumps itself up, then we hop on and go. It is light and packs up to carry easily from car to water, sometimes we even throw it in the bike trailer and ride to the bay to float. It’s an excellent launch pad that feels safe in the net with out littles, and the older kids love jumping off!
