Remigo One Neo 4hp (1.5kW)
The Remigo One Neo electric outboard engine builds upon the minimalist portability and integrated design of the original Remigo One with a more powerful and refined direct-drive propulsion system. Upgraded from a 1kW geared motor to a 1.5kW direct-drive electric outboard motor, the Neo delivers stronger acceleration, smoother operation, and up to 4HP equivalent output in Boost Mode for improved performance in wind, current, and heavier loads. Designed for inflatable boats, dinghies, tenders, sailboats, and small watercraft, the Neo combines quiet electric propulsion with a lightweight all-in-one design that is easy to transport, install, and store.
The integrated lithium battery eliminates external battery cables and separate battery packs, creating a cleaner and more convenient setup compared to traditional gas outboard engines. To complement the upgraded electric motor, Remigo also developed a redesigned propeller with a revised pitch and smaller diameter optimized specifically for the Neo platform. The direct-drive system reduces moving parts compared to conventional geared outboards, helping provide quieter operation, lower maintenance requirements, and improved efficiency on the water.

Portable & Easy to Carry
A compact, streamlined design makes the RemigoOne NEO easy to carry, install, remove, and store, providing truly portable electric power for tenders and small boats.

Smart & Simplified Interface
An intuitive interface keeps essential controls and battery data within easy reach, while Remigo’s proprietary kill switch provides simple, reliable safety on the water.

Adjustable Trim & Full Tilt
Four manual trim positions (0°, 7°, 14° & 21°) optimize performance, while full manual tilt lifts the motor clear of the water for easy beaching, storage and transport.
Remove Your Outboard in Seconds for Hoisting, Davits & Trailering
Quick Release
The RemigoOne NEO is an ideal electric outboard for boaters who regularly need to remove their motor for hoisting a tender, lifting with a davit system, onboard storage, or trailering. Unlike traditional outboards that require the entire mounting bracket to be loosened and removed from the transom, the NEO’s quick-release system allows the motor to detach in seconds while the bracket stays securely mounted to the boat. This makes frequent removal and reinstallation significantly faster and easier, especially for yacht tenders and inflatable boats that need to be lifted or stored after each use.
Simple, Intuitive Safety Built In
Magnetic Safety Key & Kill Switch
The RemigoOne NEO combines the power key and emergency kill switch into one magnetic safety system. Simply attach the floating wristband and magnetic key to the motor to get underway. If the operator falls overboard, the key automatically disconnects and instantly shuts down the electric outboard at any speed, providing an intuitive layer of safety without a separate ignition key or kill switch.

The Remigo ships via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground and is delivered either directly to the customer's home or home. If the customer is traveling, we can also coordinate delivery of the engine and catamaran to their vacation destination, or marina along their route.
The Remigo should be stored in a dry & shaded environment and in moderate temperatures ideally between 5°-15°C / 41°F - 59°F. During storage we recommend that the battery maintain a minimum charge of 60% or more, and be charged every 3 months.
The Remigo motor can be left exposed to direct sunlight on hot days. Its white aluminum body and thermally conductive design help dissipate heat. However, it should not be covered while sitting in direct sun or left inside a hot enclosed space such as a vehicle trunk. The integrated battery-management system also includes over-temperature protection.
- Maximum operating temperature: 55°C / 131°F
- Operating range: -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F)
- Maximum charging temperature: 45°C / 113°F
- Recommended long-term storage: 15–25°C / 59–77°F
Yes, the Remigo Neo is built with high-quality corrosive resistant materials and designed for extensive use in both fresh & saltwater.
No, the Remigo does not float and should be handled carefully near the water.
Yes. The RemigoOne NEO can be connected to an external battery/power source, but there’s an important distinction: the external source charges the NEO’s integrated 1,085 Wh battery rather than bypassing it as a conventional external propulsion battery.
Remigo supports 12–24V DC charging, which makes it possible to connect the NEO to a boat’s house battery or another compatible external battery using the appropriate Remigo DC charging equipment. This can effectively extend usable range by replenishing the integrated battery while aboard.
Yes. The RemigoOne NEO tilts upward, allowing you to lift the propeller and lower unit completely out of the water when docking, beaching, transporting, or storing the boat.
It also offers 4 manual trim positions: 0°, 7°, 14°, and 21° for adjusting the motor angle while underway.
Yes. The RemigoOne NEO has an adjustable shaft length, allowing the motor height to be adapted to different transom heights and boat types.
This is especially useful for inflatable boats, dinghies, and tenders, since one motor can accommodate a wider range of vessels without choosing a traditional short- or long-shaft version.
The RemigoOne NEO electric outboard motor offers several convenient charging options for home, onboard, and off-grid use:
Standard AC Charger (Included):
Charging takes approximately 6 hours using the included 5A household AC charger.
Fast AC Charger (Optional Accessory):
The optional fast charger reduces charging time to approximately 3 hours, making it ideal for faster turnaround between trips.
12–24V DC Charger (Optional Accessory):
The RemigoOne NEO can be fully charged from empty in approximately 10–12 hours using a compatible 12–24V DC power source, such as a boat, RV, or external battery, providing a convenient way to recharge while traveling or on the water.
Solar Charging (Optional Accessory):
The NEO supports solar charging with compatible equipment up to 300w. Charging time varies based on solar panel output and available sunlight, providing a convenient option for off-grid and extended marine use.
The RemigoOne NEO has a maximum range of up to 30 nautical miles (34.5 miles) at its most efficient economy speed. Remigo’s figures are based on a 10 ft inflatable dinghy with two people aboard.
- Economy / ~2 knots: Up to 30 NM (34.5 miles) | 10–15 hours
- Cruising / ~3 knots: About 12–14 NM (14–16 miles) | 4–5 hours
- Full Speed / ~5 knots: About 5 NM (5.8 miles) | ~1 hour
- Boost / up to ~5.5 knots: Designed for short bursts of maximum power rather than extended range.
For real-world use, Remigo states that most users operating a 10 ft inflatable at a moderate cruising speed can expect approximately 9–16 miles of range and 4–5 hours of runtime. A separate test on a Further Customs Laguna 290 recorded estimated ranges of about 9 miles at 50% power and 5.3 miles at 100% power.
Actual range will vary with boat size and hull shape, passenger load, wind, waves, current, and throttle use.
The RemigoOne NEO delivers performance comparable to a 3–4 HP gas outboard, without the fuel, fumes, noise, vibration, or routine engine maintenance. It offers instant starting, smooth torque, an integrated battery, and quiet operation, making it ideal for tenders, inflatable boats, lakes, harbors, and short cruises. Gas outboards still have an advantage for extended full-throttle operation because they can be quickly refueled, while the NEO excels in portability, simplicity, efficiency, and low-speed cruising.
Boost Mode temporarily increases the RemigoOne NEO’s output from 1,000W to 1,500W, providing up to 4 HP-equivalent performance when extra power is needed. It’s especially useful for accelerating, maneuvering in strong wind or current, or pushing through choppy conditions. Boost is designed for short bursts rather than continuous operation to preserve battery range.
